In Santa Cruz de Tenerife the theme of Carnival this year is the Seabed.

I did this painting, "Canary Islands, The Queen of  The Sea Spills" but I did not apply to the contest for the critical point of view about the water situation in the Canary Islands, a situation that helped us to see it by the microalgae two summers ago , dyeing the waste of our emissaries, a reality not visible under normal conditions ..

If what moves society is the concern for work: tourism, our economic base, will end before climate change does if we don't press to keep the balance between nature and us.

We are islands, a very vulnerable limited space for the conservation of the species that inhabit this environment swallowed up by the unstoppable "development" since the 1970s ...

Only among the majority showing in actions our concern, demanding NATURAL DEPURATION SYSTEMS to keep the health in what belongs to all, we can at least stop this.
